Viaah Mubarak (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a matrimonial platform operated from [Ludhiana], Punjab, India, by [Jaswinder Singh], sole proprietor. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By registering on or using viaahmubarak.com (the “Site”), you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, gender, date of birth, marital status, mobile number, email address and password.
- Profile details you choose to add: time and place of birth, height, complexion, religion, caste or gotra, mother tongue, education, profession, annual income, residential status, city and state, family details, about me, partner preferences and photographs.
- Verification documents (optional): if you choose to verify your profile, we may ask you to send us an identity document, for example a masked Aadhaar copy, passport or voter ID, by WhatsApp or email. We never ask for your full Aadhaar number, PIN or OTP.
- Messages you send us, such as support requests and reports about profiles.
- Payment details for paid plans. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we do not store your card or bank details.
- Technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and cookies.
If a parent or family member creates a profile for an adult, they confirm that they have that person’s permission.
2. Why we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account, review and approve profiles, show your profile to other members, suggest matches, verify identity and prevent fake profiles and fraud, process paid plans, send you emails, SMS or WhatsApp messages about your account, provide support, improve the Site, and follow the law. We use your information based on your consent, which you give when you register and which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Who can see your information
Visible to other registered members after login: your name, gender, marital status, date and time of birth, height, complexion, profession, caste, religion, mother tongue, city, state and residential status.
Hidden by default: your mobile number, email address, photographs, education, annual income, family details, birth place, about me and partner preferences. These can be seen only by you and our authorised administrators. Members on a paid plan may be able to unlock some of these details for a profile, as described in our Terms & Conditions. By registering you agree to this.
Verification documents are seen only by our authorised team and are never shown to other members. We ask search engines not to list member profile pages.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site, such as hosting, email, SMS and WhatsApp, payment and analytics providers, who may use it only for those services. We may also share it when the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect the safety of our members.
5. Cookies and advertising
We use cookies, and we may use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure our advertising. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and through your browser settings.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your account information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment and tax records. Identity documents are deleted from our devices and messages within 7 days after verification. We keep only a note that your profile is ID Verified.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access limits and secure connections. No website is completely secure, so please keep your password private, never share OTPs, and do not write your phone number or address in public fields such as About Me.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, withdraw your consent, or raise a complaint. Write to us at help@viaahmubarak.com from your registered email address, and we will reply within 30 days. If you withdraw consent or delete your account, we may no longer be able to provide our services to you.
9. Eligibility
Our services are only for adults who are of legal age to marry under Indian law. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone below that age.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version, with its date, is always on this page.
